Ulta Beauty’s weekly mailers were an always-on part of our book of business. Sent to an estimated 10.1 million subscribers throughout the U.S., the mailers called for our team to craft quippy headlines, crisp product copy and beguiling fragrance descriptions. 

I was happy to creatively oblige.

Weekly direct mail and The Salon Guide

While I focused on writing for the digital space, I also wrote for Ulta Beauty’s most engaged (and highest spending) customers through weekly direct mail sends and salon print collateral. In addition to ideating copy, I assisted in proofing and QA pages to ensure a flawless delivery.

From writing tactical to editorial copy, I was part of a team of scribes who supported customer and in-house business needs for The Salon at Ulta Beauty. In partnering and interviewing key members and stylists of the team, we created both in-store collateral and seasonal look books for salon clientele.
