Summer of Smiles Event

Creating a sunny solution in a moment of crisis—fast.

When a technical outage disrupted Aspen Dental’s scheduling systems, and our creative team was tasked with driving patient appointments during a critical time. In just days, I led the team to develop the Summer of Smiles Event—an omnichannel campaign spanning the entire season.

In only 2.5 weeks, my art director and I produced the campaign’s POC, style guide and TV scripts. We then delivered dynamic digital assets, a summer-long rotating website and targeted direct mailers for denture audiences, resulting in a 260% ROI.

The pitch

We turned Aspen Dental's iconic smile into an animated sun, symbolizing the campaign's spirit. To kick off the inaugural event, we also leveraged the brand’s 25th anniversary.

Promotional email inviting existing denture patients to consider upgrading to dental implants so they can bite back into summer fun.

Direct mail

In sending out a series of 3 direct mail pieces targeting existing patients who may be ready for a denture upgrade, the strategy resulted in over 260% ROI.
